How the daily puzzle works

Each day a new Arrow Escape board is selected for the daily challenge. Everyone who opens the page that day receives the identical layout — the same arrows, the same starting cells, the same minimum number of moves. That is what makes the leaderboard meaningful: differences in score come from play, not from a different puzzle.

The board changes at midnight UTC. Before then you can replay the current daily board as many times as you like to improve your result. After the change, a new board and a fresh leaderboard begin.

How scoring works

You begin each daily attempt with a clean run. Mistakes cost stars, so the safest route to the top of the board is to plan before tapping. Stars are the first ranking key; if two players share the same star count, the player who used fewer moves ranks higher; if moves are tied, the faster time wins.

Because every arrow must travel from its starting cell to an edge, each board has a fixed minimum move count. A perfect daily run is not about tapping quickly — it is about finding the shortest safe sequence. Undo is available during the attempt, and a restart costs nothing but time.

Daily play tips

Clear border arrows first; they are free moves and open cells for everything behind them.
Trace blockers backwards from the arrow you want to move.
Avoid pressing arrows into corners with no empty neighbour.
Use Hint to highlight legal moves rather than guessing.
Play the normal campaign to practise the patterns that appear in daily boards.

When does the daily puzzle change?

A new daily board goes live at 00:00 UTC. Until then, everyone who plays sees the same layout, so times and move counts are directly comparable.

Is the daily board different from normal levels?

Yes. The daily challenge uses a dedicated daily board rather than your current level. You can play the normal 100-level campaign at any time from the play page.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

Players are ranked by stars first (fewer mistakes means more stars), then by the number of moves, and finally by time. A perfect run with the minimum moves gives the strongest position.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed. You choose a nickname for the leaderboard and it is stored locally on your device. There is no sign-up or email required.

Can I play yesterday’s daily puzzle?

The leaderboard is for today’s board. Past daily boards are not archived as playable challenges, but the normal campaign always has 100 levels available.
