Arrow Escape — also known as Arrow Puzzle, Arrows Escape or the Arrow Out game — is a logic game played on a grid of arrows. Each arrow points in one of four directions, and a tap slides it one cell that way, but only when the next cell is empty. Arrows that reach the border leave the board. Your job is to choose an order that clears every arrow without trapping one against a wall or another arrow.

The game starts gently. Early boards are small and most arrows are already free, so the first few levels teach the rules through play rather than explanation. As you progress, arrows begin to block each other in longer chains: freeing one arrow opens a corridor for another, which then lets a third escape. That dependency chain is the heart of the puzzle, and later levels build dense mazes of interlocking moves.

Controls

• Tap or click an arrow to slide it one cell in its pointing direction.
• Undo rewinds your last move — three undos are available per level.
• Hint highlights every arrow that can legally move right now (two per level).
• Reset restarts the current board without affecting your unlocked levels.

Scoring and stars

You earn a star for clearing the board and additional stars for finishing without mistakes or with very few. In the daily challenge, players are ranked by stars first, then by the number of moves, then by time — which rewards careful planning over fast tapping. Every board is solvable, and the minimum number of moves is fixed, so a perfect run is always possible.

A few useful habits

Clear the border first. Arrows that already face an open edge are free progress and often expose the next layer of arrows. Avoid moves that press an arrow against a corner unless you already know how it will leave. When two moves look equal, choose the one that opens the longest empty corridor. And do not be afraid to experiment: undo exists precisely so you can test a sequence and rewind it.
